I am looking forward to a productive year of learning. I believe Kindergarten is the most important "stepping stone" to higher learning. I have had the opportunity to teach Kindergarteners for a total of three, nonconsecutive years, in both the private and public setting. I am very happy to be back in the private sector of teaching, and believe private schools provide our best hope for the future of our childrens' educations. I also believe that teaching a child kindness to others, and all living things,is one of the most important character traits to be taught. I have a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education from Athens State. I am a wife and a mother,as well as a teacher. My husband and I have three wonderful kids. We also claim three dogs and a cat as a part of our family. I feel blessed to call north Alabama my home and look forward to a great year of working with you and your child. |
